Jakarta, ThedailyID — Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 18 Pro series, with new leaks revealing potential color options ahead of its expected September 2026 debut. The update suggests the company may remove the popular “Cosmic Orange” variant from the lineup.
A report from Macworld, citing a source familiar with Apple’s supply chain and referenced by 9to5Mac on April 19, points to a shift in design direction. Apple appears to move away from bold tones and focus on a more refined color palette.
The leak highlights a new standout color called “Dark Cherry.” Instead of a bright red tone, sources now expect a deeper purple shade to take its place.
Apple is also developing three additional color options. These include Light Blue (Pantone 2121), Silver (Pantone 427C), and Dark Gray (Pantone 426C).
However, Apple has not finalized the lineup yet. The company still tests these colors, as the device has not entered mass production.
“Everything remains in development, and Apple may still change the final colors,” the source said. “The company also does not always release four color options for Pro models.”
Beyond color changes, the report reveals small design adjustments. Apple plans to keep a look similar to the previous model but aims to reduce the size of the Dynamic Island.
The company may also tighten the spacing between the rear glass cutout and the camera bump. These refinements suggest a more compact and polished design.
Apple will likely introduce the iPhone 18 lineup in September 2026. Reports also suggest the company may unveil its first foldable iPhone at the same event.
