Jakarta, ThedailyID — LINE Bank by Hana Bank has launched a new mutual fund investment feature, allowing users to manage savings and investments directly through one digital banking application.
The feature aims to support customers who want easier access to investment products, especially younger users who increasingly rely on digital financial services.
PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia said users can now buy, top up, and sell mutual funds directly through the LINE Bank app. The platform also includes weekly and monthly auto-debit options to help users build consistent investment habits.
Chief Personal Banking Officer Stefen Loekito said public interest in investing continues to grow, particularly among digitally connected younger generations.
“We see growing awareness around investing, especially among younger customers who adapt quickly to digital technology,” Stefen said in the company’s statement.
He added that many people currently prefer safer investment instruments amid global economic uncertainty.
LINE Bank now offers four categories of mutual funds: money market, fixed income, mixed, and equity funds. All products use the rupiah currency.
The platform currently provides 39 mutual fund products managed by seven investment management companies that partner with LINE Bank.
Users can start investing from as little as Rp100,000, making the feature accessible to beginner investors. In addition, customers can choose investment products independently or use the Robo AIdvisor feature for recommendations.
The bank said the new service improves portfolio visibility and simplifies digital investing through one integrated application.
Besides accessing the feature through LINE Bank, customers can also invest through Hana Bank branch offices or the MyHana Mobile Banking application.
The launch reflects growing competition among digital banking platforms in Indonesia as financial institutions expand investment and wealth management services beyond traditional banking features.
