Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia or Jamkrindo expressed support for the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (Financial Services Authority/OJK) initiative to strengthen and streamline Indonesia’s guarantee industry.
The company said the policy is important to reinforce the financial sector’s foundation and sharpen the business focus of guarantee institutions.
Jamkrindo believes the move can help the industry expand financing access, especially for MSMEs and other productive sectors.
As part of its support, Jamkrindo participated in Indonesia Guarantee Summit (IGS) 2026 in Jakarta on Thursday.
The forum carried the theme “Streamlining the Guarantee Industry as the Foundation for Strengthening Financing Access and Financial System Stability.”
Jamkrindo’s Director of Human Resources, General Affairs, and Risk Management Ivan Soeparno attended the event. The company’s Director of Business and Institutional Development Krisna Johan also joined as a speaker.
Acting Corporate Secretary Agustinus Handoko said the guarantee industry plays a strategic role in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth through risk mitigation and financing access.
According to him, streamlining the guarantee sector should strengthen the national guarantee ecosystem and improve its credibility, prudence, and long-term sustainability.
Handoko added that Jamkrindo continues strengthening corporate governance, digital transformation, service quality, and risk management to support the industry’s development.
He also stressed the importance of collaboration between regulators, financial institutions, government agencies, and guarantee companies to build a more inclusive financing ecosystem.
Jamkrindo believes stronger guarantee institutions can help improve national financial intermediation and support Indonesia’s economic resilience amid global uncertainty.
Indonesia Guarantee Summit itself serves as an annual strategic forum that gathers regulators, academics, financial industry players, and business representatives to discuss the future of Indonesia’s guarantee sector.
