Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), or Jamkrindo, is supporting stronger competency standards for Indonesia’s guarantee industry.
The company took part in drafting the National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the guarantee sector. Jamkrindo also attended the National Convention on the Draft SKKNI (RSKKNI) in Jakarta on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
The convention was opened by OJK Deputy Commissioner for Insurance, Guarantee and Pension Fund Supervision Iwan Pasila.
Iwan praised the collaboration among stakeholders. He said the process would help improve human resources in the guarantee industry.
Jamkrindo President Director Abdul Bari also attended the event. He serves as Deputy Chairman of the RSKKNI Formulation Team.
Abdul Bari said stronger competency standards can create a common reference for the industry. He also said the standards can help build a more professional workforce.
“Jamkrindo fully appreciates and supports the process of developing the RSKKNI for the guarantee sector,” Abdul Bari said on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
He said the standards should produce competent and professional workers. They should also promote integrity across the industry.
“With relevant and adaptive competency standards, we can strengthen service quality, governance and risk management,” he said.
Abdul Bari also highlighted changes within the industry. These include new regulations, digital transformation and evolving business risks.
As a result, workers need to improve their skills continuously. The competency standards must also keep pace with these changes.
“We appreciate the collaboration among OJK, industry associations, business players and all parties involved,” Abdul Bari said.
“Jamkrindo is ready to continue contributing so that the RSKKNI can be implemented effectively,” he added.
The RSKKNI process involves various industry stakeholders. They discuss the proposed standards and provide feedback before reaching an agreement.
The draft covers several key areas. These include governance, risk management, compliance, legal matters, internal audit and fraud prevention.
These competencies can support better industry practices. They can also improve service quality and strengthen corporate governance.
Jamkrindo Director of Human Resources, General Affairs and Risk Management Ivan Soeparno also attended the convention. He is also the chairman of the Indonesian Guarantee Companies Association (ASIPPINDO).
His participation further reflects Jamkrindo’s role in developing industry standards. The company aims to support a stronger and more professional guarantee sector.
The new competency standards are expected to help the industry adapt to future challenges. They can also strengthen public trust in guarantee services.
