Jakarta, ThedailyID — Indonesia’s National Police (Polri) have reassigned, promoted and rotated 1,121 senior and mid-ranking officers in one of the force’s largest personnel reshuffles. The changes include several key positions within the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya).
The appointments appear in a series of police chief telegrams issued on June 26. The reshuffle affects officers across multiple divisions and regional commands.
Under Telegram No. ST/1335/VI/KEP./2026, Commissioner Aris Supriyono will become Head of the Professional and Internal Affairs Division (Propam) at Polda Metro Jaya. He previously served as Head of the Internal Supervision Section at Polri’s Propam Division.
Aris replaces Commissioner Radjo Alriadi. Radjo will now serve as Secretary of the Provost Development Bureau at Polri’s Propam Division.
The same order also transfers Commissioner Joko Sulistio. He leaves his role as Head of the Vital Object Security Directorate at Polda Metro Jaya to become a Senior Police Auditor at the Mobile Brigade Corps (Korbrimob).
Commissioner Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi will replace Joko as Director of Vital Object Security.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Danang Setiyo Pambudi, will become Malang City Police Chief in East Java.
Adjunct Senior Commissioner Dewa P. G. Anom Danujaya, formerly the Purwakarta Police Chief, will succeed Danang as deputy director.
The reshuffle also changes leadership at the Bekasi Metropolitan Police. Commissioner Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro will move to the Human Resources Bureau of Polri’s Intelligence and Security Agency. Commissioner Putu Kholis Aryana will replace him as Bekasi Metro Police Chief.
In a separate police chief telegram, Commissioner H. Y. Arief Satriyo was appointed Director of Community Development at Polda Metro Jaya.
Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Aris Wibowo will become Deputy Director of the Women and Children Protection Directorate at Polda Metro Jaya. Adjunct Senior Commissioner Alrasyidin Fajri will take over as Tanjung Priok Police Chief.
The police chief also appointed Commissioner M. Faizal Zulkarnaen as Head of the Police Medical Division at Polda Metro Jaya. He replaces Commissioner Martinus Ginting, who will move to Bhayangkara National Police Hospital.
Another appointment places Adjunct Senior Commissioner David Triyo Prasojo in charge of the Detainee and Evidence Management Directorate. He replaces Adjunct Senior Commissioner Dermawan Karo Sekali.
Earlier, National Police spokesperson Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said personnel rotations are a routine part of Polri’s organizational development.
He said the changes aim to strengthen professionalism, leadership and operational effectiveness. The reshuffle also seeks to improve police services and public protection across Indonesia.
