Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) paid Rp9.4 trillion in insurance claims and benefits from January to July 2026.
IFG Life is part of IFG, the state-owned insurance, guarantee and investment holding company. The company said the payments reflect its commitment to fulfilling obligations to policyholders.
The claims payments also came alongside business growth. IFG Life recorded 32.87% year-on-year growth in premium income during the January-July 2026 period.
The company said the performance reflects its effort to balance customer obligations with sustainable financial growth.
“Realizing these claim payments shows the company’s capacity to fulfill its obligations to customers. These figures indicate that IFG Life has a strong ability to meet its obligations,” Finance Director Ryan Diastana Firman said in Jakarta on Monday, September 21.
Financial Health
IFG Life recorded a Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratio of 169% as of July 2026. The figure remains above the regulatory minimum of 120%.
Meanwhile, the company’s liquidity ratio increased significantly. It rose from 199.32% in 2025 to 420.10% in 2026.
Ryan said stronger financial indicators are important to maintaining the company’s ability to meet its obligations. This includes fulfilling claims to policyholders.
Since its establishment in October 2020, IFG Life has paid a total of Rp32.6 trillion in insurance claims and benefits.
The company said the payments are part of its commitment to providing transparent and reliable protection services.
“Through continued claim payments and stronger financial conditions, IFG Life ensures that fulfilling obligations and maintaining service quality for policyholders remain the company’s priorities,” Ryan said.
Going forward, IFG Life said it will continue strengthening its business foundation. The company aims to provide relevant protection for Indonesians at different stages of life.
