Jakarta, ThedailyID — Guardian Indonesia has opened its first grab-and-go store at the Jembatan Penyeberangan Multiguna (JPM) Dukuh Atas transit hub in Jakarta. The new outlet brings health, beauty, and personal care products closer to commuters and urban consumers.
Announced on November 6, 2026, the store reflects Guardian’s efforts to adapt its retail services to changing consumer lifestyles. Its compact format aims to make everyday shopping faster and more convenient.
Dukuh Atas serves as one of Jakarta’s busiest public transportation hubs. It connects several public transport networks, making it a strategic location for retailers targeting commuters.
Through this new concept, Guardian aims to help customers meet their daily health and personal care needs while traveling. The store also represents a move beyond conventional retail locations toward more flexible shopping formats.
Bhavin Patel, Managing Director of Health & Beauty at Guardian Indonesia, said the opening reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and customer accessibility.
“The opening of Guardian’s first grab-and-go store demonstrates our commitment to continuous innovation and bringing our services closer to customers. As urban lifestyles change, we believe shopping experiences must also adapt,” Bhavin said.
He added that consumers increasingly need quick and convenient access to health, beauty, and personal care products. Therefore, Guardian wants to make everyday wellness needs easier to meet, regardless of customers’ schedules and locations.
The JPM Dukuh Atas outlet also serves as a pilot project for Guardian’s retail development strategy. The company will evaluate customer responses, shopping behavior, feedback, and store performance to assess the concept’s potential.
According to Bhavin, the initiative will provide valuable insights into consumer preferences in high-traffic transportation areas.
“This is a new approach for Guardian Indonesia, with a retail format specifically designed to support urban mobility. Through our Dukuh Atas store, we hope to gain insights into customer needs and shopping behavior within transportation hubs,” he said.
Guardian is optimistic about the concept’s potential and hopes to introduce similar outlets at other transportation hubs and strategic public spaces across Indonesia.
To serve public transportation users, the company has also carefully selected its product range. The assortment focuses on items that match the needs of active consumers with busy daily routines.
Through this initiative, Guardian aims to strengthen access to health and beauty products while exploring retail formats that better accommodate urban mobility.
