Jakarta, ThedailyID — BNI’s digital banking app wondr by BNI reached 15.1 million users by the end of June 2026.
Transaction volume on the platform also grew 110% year-on-year during the first half of the year.
The growth comes as digital payments become increasingly embedded in Indonesians’ daily financial activities.
Bank Indonesia recorded 1.529 billion BI-FAST transactions in the second quarter of 2026. The figure marked a 38.09% annual increase, with transaction value reaching Rp3,777 trillion.
QRIS transactions also grew 100.12% year-on-year during the same period.
Against this backdrop, BNI continues to develop wondr by BNI as an integrated financial management platform.
The app organizes its services around three financial dimensions: Transaction, Insight, and Growth.
The Transaction feature covers everyday financial needs. Users can transfer money, schedule transfers, withdraw cash without a card, and make international transfers.
The platform also supports payments for bills, mobile credit, digital wallets, QRIS transactions, and TapCash. Users can also access lifestyle services such as train and concert ticket purchases.
Meanwhile, Insight helps users track their income and spending based on previous financial activity. The feature allows users to better understand their spending patterns.
The Growth dimension focuses on preserving and growing assets. Users can access various financial instruments to prepare for future financial goals.
BNI President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan said the company continues to strengthen its core business and digital transformation.
He said BNI is directing resources toward sectors and ecosystems with healthy growth prospects. The strategy aims to maintain asset productivity while improving services for customers.
The development of wondr by BNI forms part of BNI’s broader digital transformation. The initiative also supports the transformation of state-owned enterprises under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia.
BNI said it will continue developing wondr by BNI to make its services more relevant, user-friendly, secure, and aligned with customers’ financial needs.
