Jakarta, ThedailyID — Bank Jakarta has officially unveiled its first future branch concept at its Kebayoran Park Sub-Branch Office (KCP Kebayoran Park), marking a major step in the regional bank’s ongoing transformation.
The new branch offers a more modern, comfortable, and customer-focused banking experience. It also reflects Bank Jakarta’s commitment to supporting Jakarta’s vision of becoming a global city.
Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno welcomed the initiative and praised Bank Jakarta’s efforts to modernize its services while expanding financial access for residents.
“Bank Jakarta plays an important role as a regional development bank. It not only provides financial services but also supports business growth, expands access to financing, and drives Jakarta’s economic transformation,” Rano said during the inauguration ceremony on Monday.
He also encouraged Bank Jakarta to strengthen financial inclusion by expanding access to banking services. Rano specifically proposed installing ATMs in public housing complexes across Jakarta.
The Kebayoran Park branch adopts a modern, accessible, and connected concept. The redesigned space combines digital banking capabilities with personalized customer service. Customers will also notice the bank’s new corporate identity, including updated uniforms for front-line staff.
Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo said the transformation goes beyond architectural improvements or new technology.
“A bank’s transformation is not only about modern buildings or technology. It happens when people experience services that are easier, faster, more comfortable, and more human-centered,” Agus said.
According to Agus, physical branches remain essential in the digital era because customer trust is still built through human interaction. He believes the future of banking lies in combining smart digital services with warm and personalized experiences.
The Kebayoran Park branch serves as the prototype for Bank Jakarta’s next-generation branch network. The bank plans to replicate the concept across its offices through improvements in service spaces, business processes, and workplace culture.
Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said the transformation reflects the company’s adaptive and innovative spirit. He added that the initiative strengthens the bank’s readiness to navigate the rapidly evolving banking industry while supporting Jakarta’s economic development on the global stage.
Through its new interactive branch concept, Bank Jakarta aims to prove that digitalization can strengthen, rather than replace, meaningful customer relationships.
