Jakarta, ThedailyID — XLSMART marked its first anniversary by highlighting strong business growth, wider network expansion, and deeper investments in Indonesia’s digital ecosystem.
The company said the milestone reflects a year of accelerated integration, stronger infrastructure, and continued efforts to improve customer experience as demand for connectivity grows.
President Director and CEO Rajeev Sethi said the anniversary offered a moment to reflect on the company’s progress while reinforcing long-term ambitions.
“This milestone reflects our efforts to accelerate integration, strengthen network quality, and deliver digital innovation relevant to society’s needs,” Sethi said.
He added the company will continue focusing on customer experience while building an environment that supports innovation and talent growth.
XLSMART reported revenue growth of 23 percent year-on-year in 2025, while first-year integration synergies surpassed the company’s original targets.
That progress, the company said, came partly from faster-than-expected integration, which improved efficiency, strengthened network consolidation, and helped unify digital services for customers.
XLSMART now serves more than 73 million customers across Indonesia, supported by ongoing infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving speed, coverage, and reliability.
Meanwhile, its 5G blanket coverage has expanded to 33 cities and regencies, opening broader opportunities for IoT, cloud services, and digital transformation across industries.
The company also entered the Best Companies Asia-Pacific 2026 ranking at 278 out of 500 firms, while claiming the highest placement among Indonesian telecom operators.
That recognition, based on employee satisfaction, financial performance, and ESG transparency, added to what the company sees as a strong first-year foundation.
Beyond network investment, XLSMART said it remains focused on becoming the country’s most loved telecom operator by offering accessible and relevant digital services.
At the same time, it continues strengthening an inclusive workplace culture, positioning itself as a hub for top technology talent.
Anniversary Event Highlights
To mark the milestone, XLSMART held an anniversary event themed Connecting Today, Empowering Tomorrow at Indonesia Convention Exhibition.
Around 15,000 visitors attended the event, which brought together employees, families, partners, customers, and communities in a full-day celebration.
The event blended concerts, technology exhibitions, digital product activations, interactive experiences, health services, and culinary showcases.
Performances from Dewa 19 and Padi Reborn headlined the celebration and drew strong public interest.
However, the anniversary also served as a platform to spotlight broader social commitments.
XLSMART introduced XLSMART Future Ready, a digital employability initiative designed to equip young Indonesians with practical skills, certifications, mentoring, and pathways into jobs.
The program focuses on developing future talent, expanding inclusive digital access, and strengthening community empowerment through digital learning.
XLSMART said the initiative targets one million participants over time and aims to connect 1,000 selected talents to employment opportunities.
Moreover, the program will involve partners including the Ministry of Manpower, as well as Huawei and ZTE.
The company also highlighted its Sisternet Female Future Leader initiative, alongside a women-led SME empowerment program that has reached more than 4,000 businesses.
In addition, XLSMART handed over symbolic internet quota donations to eight schools and introduced an electronic waste campaign with Remind as part of its sustainability strategy.
Visitors were encouraged to bring unused electronics to collection points during the event, reinforcing the company’s broader ESG agenda.
Overall, the anniversary became more than a celebration of business performance. It also highlighted XLSMART’s effort to align growth, digital inclusion, and sustainability under one long-term strategy.
With stronger fundamentals and continued network investment, the company said it remains optimistic about contributing to Indonesia’s digital future.
