Jakarta, ThedailyID – Newly surfaced video footage appears to show a U.S. Tomahawk missile striking an IRGC-linked facility in Minab, Iran, on February 28, 2026.
The footage is significant because it shows, for the first time, a missile impact in the area during the strike.
Smoke can also be seen rising from the vicinity of a nearby girls’ school. The site was reportedly hit during the same incident. The video quickly sparked debate over who was responsible for the strike.
According to early reports, around 175 people were killed in the attack on the school.
When asked about the incident on March 7, 2026, Donald Trump denied that the United States carried out the attack.
Speaking to reporters, Trump claimed the strike was likely caused by Iran itself. He said the explosion could have been the result of Iranian munitions with poor accuracy.
However, weapons researcher Trevor Ball pointed to a key detail in the footage. Ball noted that Israel does not possess Tomahawk missiles, while the United States does.
The strike has become another flashpoint in the rapidly escalating tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States.
