Jakarta, ThedailyID — Traveloka and Resorts World Sentosa signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen tourism connectivity and support rising travel demand to Singapore.
The partnership gives travelers easier access to RWS attractions, premium hotels, dining experiences, and entertainment services through the Traveloka platform.
Traveloka said Singapore remains one of the top three international destinations for Indonesian travelers on the platform. During 2026, Universal Studios Singapore and Singapore Oceanarium became two of the most searched attractions in the country.
Traveloka also recorded a twofold increase in searches for RWS attractions in February 2026 compared to the same period last year. The company said the trend reflects growing interest in short-distance holidays focused on recreation, entertainment, and family activities.
Traveloka Vice President of Commercial, Baidi Li, said the partnership combines AI-powered recommendations with RWS attractions. She said the collaboration aims to create a smoother and more personalized booking experience for travelers.
Indonesia currently ranks among the three priority markets for Resorts World Sentosa.
Besides Universal Studios Singapore, RWS also saw rising interest in tourism experiences that combine shopping, dining, hospitality, and entertainment.
Ahead of the June school holiday season, RWS plans to promote its “Summer of Treasures” campaign from May 29 to August 30, 2026.
The campaign features themed attractions, entertainment programs, culinary experiences, sustainability festivals, and appearances from global football legends.
Travelers will also gain easier access to integrated travel packages through Traveloka. The packages include flights, hotels, attractions, dining, and entertainment services.
RWS Acting Senior Vice President of Resort Sales & Marketing, Jenny Wang, said the partnership helps the resort expand its reach across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
She said Traveloka’s platform and consumer insights would help travelers discover RWS experiences more easily. As part of the collaboration, Traveloka users will receive exclusive offers and personalized travel recommendations. Users will also gain easier access to bundled travel services.
Traveloka currently operates across several Asian markets, including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Australia. The platform has recorded more than 140 million application downloads.
