Jakarta, ThedailyID — Indonesia will open applications for the second batch of the National Internship Program (MagangHub) from July 15 to July 28, 2026, offering monthly stipends based on regional minimum wages.
The Ministry of Manpower aims to place 150,000 interns by the end of 2026, a 50% increase from the 100,000 participants recruited in 2025.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli said the program will run in three batches, with each round accommodating around 50,000 participants.
The government continues to fully fund the program this year.
Participants will receive a monthly allowance equivalent to the regional minimum wage (UMK) or provincial minimum wage (UMP) where they are assigned.
According to Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, participants can earn between Rp3.5 million and Rp6 million per month, depending on the local minimum wage.
The second batch follows this schedule:
- Company registration: June 29–July 15, 2026
- Participant registration: July 15–28, 2026
- Selection process: July 29–August 5, 2026
- Announcement of results: August 7, 2026
- Internship begins: August 10, 2026
The program is open to Indonesian citizens who graduated from a D3, D4, or bachelor’s degree within the past year.
Applicants must also graduate from a university officially registered with the Ministry of Education and have a SIAPKerja account.
Registration takes place online through the MagangHub platform.
Applicants should log in using their SIAPKerja account, complete their personal information, and follow the registration instructions.
Those who have not created a SIAPKerja account must register before applying.
Applicants should also prepare several supporting documents, including a diploma, academic transcript, curriculum vitae (CV), and any relevant certificates or awards.
After registration closes on July 28, organizers will conduct administrative screening and recruitment before announcing successful applicants on August 7.
Selected participants will begin their internships on August 10, 2026.
