JAKARTA, Thedaily.id – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), or Jamkrindo, has launched the PELITA Mobile Unit (Empathy, Literacy, and Child Development Services), a mobile educational initiative designed to expand access to literacy programs, educational activities, and child development support services. The launch of the PELITA Mobile Unit is one of the flagship programs commemorating Jamkrindo’s 56th Anniversary, held under the theme “Expanding Guarantees, Creating Greater Impact.” The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to creating added value not only through its guarantee services but also by strengthening the quality of Indonesia’s human capital from an early age.President Director of PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), Abdul Bari, stated that inclusive economic development must go hand in hand with human development. Therefore, Jamkrindo continues to introduce programs that deliver tangible benefits to the community.
He explained that the PELITA Mobile Unit is an extension of Jamkrindo’s existing educational programs focusing on mental health, bullying prevention, and the prevention of sexual violence against children. Through this mobile service, Jamkrindo will visit schools across Indonesia to provide literacy education, child development assistance, and free psychological counseling services.
The program offers children a safe space to consult with professional psychologists, enabling them to receive the support they need to maintain good mental health, build self-confidence, and overcome social challenges at school and within their families. The presence of the PELITA Mobile Unit is also expected to encourage the early detection of children’s psychological issues, allowing timely and appropriate intervention.
“The PELITA Mobile Unit reflects Jamkrindo’s commitment to bringing services closer to the community. We aim to provide broader access to literacy, education, and child development assistance so that every Indonesian child has an equal opportunity to grow and achieve a brighter future,” said Abdul Bari.
In addition to launching the PELITA Mobile Unit, Jamkrindo’s 56th Anniversary celebration featured various social and community empowerment initiatives, including the Pustaka Lestari program for thousands of Indonesian children, Pelosok Mengajar, the establishment of Reading Corners, family mental health education, teacher competency development programs, teacher appreciation initiatives, and a blood donation drive as part of the company’s commitment to public health.
The anniversary celebration also included a Fun Walk attended by the Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, Jamkrindo employees, and their families. More than just a recreational activity, the event symbolized the spirit of togetherness, collaboration, and the company’s culture in facing future challenges.
According to Abdul Bari, the company’s transformation journey cannot be achieved individually but requires the synergy of all employees.
“This morning’s Fun Walk is more than just a sporting event; it symbolizes that great achievements can only be realized through togetherness. With this spirit, Jamkrindo will continue creating greater impact for society and Indonesia’s economy,” he said.
The 56th Anniversary also served as a moment of reflection on Jamkrindo’s more than five decades of contribution to Indonesia’s economic development. As the country’s largest credit guarantee company and a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Jamkrindo continues to strengthen its role in expanding financing access for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives through business transformation, stronger corporate governance, digital innovation, and sustainable risk management.
“For 56 years, Jamkrindo has played an important role in Indonesia’s economic development by expanding financial accessibility,” Abdul Bari said. Through its guarantee services, tens of millions of MSMEs and cooperatives have gained access to financing, enabling them to increase production capacity, expand market reach, strengthen competitiveness, create employment opportunities, and grow into stronger drivers of the national economy.
As of June 2026, Jamkrindo has continued to strengthen its contribution to the national economy by recording a guarantee volume of IDR 139.6 trillion, benefiting more than 2 million business actors and beneficiaries, while contributing to the creation and support of nearly 5.9 million jobs. These achievements reflect Jamkrindo’s strategic role in expanding financing access, enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs and cooperatives, and promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
