Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) and PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (Hana Bank) have entered a strategic partnership for credit life insurance services.
The cooperation aims to integrate financing and financial protection for Hana Bank customers. The agreement was signed on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Graha CIMB Niaga in Jakarta.
The partnership covers customers with home ownership loans (KPR) and multipurpose loans.
Through credit life insurance, Hana Bank borrowers will receive protection against the risk of death during the loan period. The coverage can provide greater certainty for borrowers and support Hana Bank’s credit management.
Fabiola Noralita, IFG Life’s Director of Individual Business and Acting Director of Corporate Business, said the partnership supports the company’s effort to expand insurance protection.
“This cooperation is a strategic collaboration to provide comprehensive protection for Hana Bank borrowers and open opportunities for further cooperation,” Fabiola said on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
She said IFG Life views protection as an important part of helping customers feel secure when planning their future.
For Hana Bank, the partnership adds value to its banking services. Customers can access financing while also receiving protection against related risks.
Hana Bank Chief Personal Banking Officer Marco Wirjadi welcomed the partnership with IFG Life.
“We welcome the partnership with IFG Life as a partner in protecting our customers from risks. For us, providing a sense of security is not only about delivering services, but also being present and providing protection throughout the customer journey,” Marco said.
The two companies see the agreement as an initial step toward more integrated financial services.
Going forward, IFG Life and Hana Bank plan to explore further cooperation. The companies aim to develop solutions that better match customers’ financing and protection needs.
