Jakarta, ThedailyID — Bank Mandiri Taspen and PT TASPEN (Persero) have strengthened their collaboration with the West Java Provincial Government as part of efforts to improve services and welfare for retired civil servants.
The commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting with West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, widely known as Kang Dedi Mulyadi (KDM), in Bandung. The gathering also highlighted Bank Mandiri Taspen’s role as one of TASPEN’s strategic partners in distributing pension-related benefits.
The bank said the meeting aimed to reinforce cooperation in delivering pension programmes and expanding financial services tailored to retired state employees. At the same time, both institutions pledged to continue improving service quality for pension beneficiaries.
Bank Mandiri Taspen noted that its relationship with Dedi Mulyadi dates back to his previous public service roles. Through its partnership with TASPEN, the bank distributed his pension and old-age savings benefits after he completed his term as Purwakarta Regent. It later provided similar benefits following the end of his tenure as a member of Indonesia’s House of Representatives.
Eko Andryanto Prakasa, Branch Manager at TASPEN, said cooperation between TASPEN, Bank Mandiri Taspen, and the West Java administration plays an important role in ensuring efficient services for participants and beneficiaries.
“Through close collaboration with Bank Mandiri Taspen and the support of the West Java Provincial Government, we aim to provide services that are easier, faster, and more reliable while improving the welfare of civil servants and retirees,” Eko said.
Meanwhile, Bagus Ahmad Irawanto, Distribution Head IV at Bank Mandiri Taspen, said the bank would continue strengthening its role as TASPEN’s strategic banking partner.
He added that the company remains committed to providing accessible and inclusive financial services while creating greater value for pensioners. According to Bagus, cooperation with the provincial government will also help improve retirees’ overall quality of life.
Looking ahead, Bank Mandiri Taspen and TASPEN said they will continue developing service innovations and expanding partnerships with stakeholders to maximise the benefits of Indonesia’s pension programmes.
