Jakarta, ThedailyID — Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Ubud, Bali, has earned a spot among the world’s 100 best hotels for 2026.
The luxury resort ranked 61st in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026. The organization released the rankings for positions 51 to 100 ahead of its announcement of the top 50 hotels.
Mandapa’s placement also makes it one of the Indonesian properties featured in the global ranking. Asia had a strong presence, with hotels from Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, India, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Located in Kedewatan, Ubud, the resort blends luxury accommodation with Bali’s natural landscape. The property sits among tropical forests, rice terraces and the Ayung River.
Mandapa operates 60 accommodations, consisting of 35 suites and 25 private villas. The villas feature private pools and views of the Ayung River, while all units offer personalized butler services.
The resort also incorporates Balinese culture into its guest experiences. Visitors can explore the surrounding rice fields, enjoy activities around the Ayung River, or take part in yoga and meditation sessions.
Mandapa Spa offers holistic treatments alongside a yoga studio, meditation room and vitality pool.
For dining, the resort features several premium restaurants, including Kubu at Mandapa. The restaurant serves food in bamboo structures overlooking the Ayung River.
Mandapa shares the ranking with renowned hotels across the world, including La Réserve Paris, Rosewood London, Ritz Paris, Hotel Bel-Air Los Angeles and Aman New York.
The 51–100 list includes 18 newcomers and five hotels returning to the ranking, according to Time Out.
