Jakarta, ThedailyID — Cyber Breaker 2026 Season 3 officially launched on April 14, 2026, at Jakarta Creative Hub. The program marks a new phase in building Indonesia’s cybersecurity talent ecosystem.
Since its first season, Cyber Breaker has grown rapidly. Participation rose from 137 in Season 1 to 616 in Season 2, while the program generated over 2.3 million digital views and involved more than 44 cyber and IT communities.
For Season 3, organizers target 1,000 participants to expand reach and open more opportunities. They aim to strengthen the national cyber talent pipeline as demand for cybersecurity skills continues to rise.
The competition now uses a more structured format with two main stages: Cyber Breaker Development (CBD) and Cyber Breaker Competition (CBC). Participants move from regional to national levels before entering the main competition.
This format allows participants to build experience and reputation at every stage. It also positions the program as a long-term talent development platform, not just a competition.
Satria Siber Nusantara supports the initiative as the main sponsor. Meanwhile, Peris.ai and RRQ continue their collaboration to expand the cyber esports approach to wider audiences.
The program also includes Cyber-Gig training in partnership with Kementerian Ekonomi Kreatif and the Jakarta provincial government. The training prepares participants for freelance opportunities in the global cybersecurity market.
The initiative supports the shift toward a gig economy by equipping participants with practical and flexible skills. It responds to rising demand for project-based work in the digital era.
Through its #WinAtEveryLevel campaign, Cyber Breaker highlights progress at every stage. The program encourages participants to see each level as part of their growth journey.
The launch strengthens collaboration between industry, government, and communities. It also reinforces Cyber Breaker’s role in shaping Indonesia’s cybersecurity talent ecosystem.
