Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), known as Jamkrindo, recorded a consolidated guarantee volume of Rp271.20 trillion through September 2026. The company supported 2.97 million micro, small, and medium enterprises and cooperatives (MSMEs) and helped support 9.46 million workers. It also posted a pre-tax profit of Rp1.1 trillion.
Jamkrindo President Director Abdul Bari said the results reflected an adaptive business strategy, stronger risk management and measured growth opportunities. He stressed that the company must balance business expansion with portfolio quality to maintain competitiveness and long-term sustainability.
“For Jamkrindo, maintaining performance is not merely about business growth. It also means ensuring that growth has a strong foundation and delivers long-term benefits,” Abdul Bari said during the company’s Editors-in-Chief Gathering in Semarang on Friday, October 23, 2026.
He added that Jamkrindo would continue strengthening its capabilities, improving risk management and pursuing business opportunities to increase its contribution to MSMEs and the national economy.
The company also supports shareholder directives to streamline the conventional and sharia guarantee business clusters. Jamkrindo views the move as a strategic effort to create a more efficient, integrated and optimized industry structure.
The initiative aligns with the government’s ambition to build state-owned enterprises that are feasible, sizeable, sustainable and capable of competing globally.
“We support efforts to strengthen the industry structure by considering business viability, operational effectiveness, risk management and long-term sustainability,” Abdul Bari said.
Jamkrindo is also monitoring developments under the Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) roadmap for refining Indonesia’s guarantee industry. The company expects industry restructuring to improve operational synergies, efficiency and competitiveness.
One option under consideration involves transferring guarantee business portfolios from non-guarantee or insurance entities within the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) to Jamkrindo. The proposed transfer would take place in the first phase of the plan.
However, the company said it would assess business viability, operational readiness, risk management, corporate governance and other relevant factors before proceeding. The evaluation aims to ensure that any transfer delivers optimal benefits and supports shareholder objectives.
Internally, Jamkrindo is strengthening its organization through the IMPACT transformation program. The framework covers six areas: Independence, Market, People, Agility, Competitiveness and Technology.
Independence focuses on developing a more self-reliant workforce. Market emphasizes expanding market reach and identifying business opportunities, while People focuses on strengthening employee skills and capabilities.
Agility aims to help employees adapt quickly to change. Competitiveness focuses on improving the company’s market position, while Technology prioritizes digital optimization and system resilience.
Through IMPACT, Jamkrindo seeks to improve operational effectiveness, strengthen competitiveness and support sustainable business growth.
“With a commitment to providing broader guarantees and delivering more tangible impact, we will continue contributing to a more efficient and competitive national guarantee industry while expanding financing access for MSMEs,” Abdul Bari said.
As part of its efforts to strengthen strategic media relationships, Jamkrindo held its Editors-in-Chief Gathering in Semarang from October 22 to 24, 2026. The event provided a forum to discuss the company’s performance, developments in the guarantee industry, business expansion and plans for industry restructuring.
The gathering was attended by Abdul Bari and several Jamkrindo directors, including Guarantee Business Director Ardhi Setyarko, Business and Institutional Development Director Krisna Johan, and Human Resources, General Affairs and Risk Management Director Ivan Soeparno. Finance and Investment Director Alia Nur Fitri, Operations and Network Director Sigit T. Prabowo, and acting Jamkrindo Syariah President Director Loesdarwanto also attended.
