Jakarta, ThedailyID — Chinese robotics company AiMOGA Robotics has started selling humanoid and quadruped robots in Indonesia.
The company introduced its humanoid robot Mornine and robot dog Argos when it opened its first experience store in Jakarta on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Argos starts at around Rp50 million in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Mornine costs around Rp800 million to Rp1 billion.
Mornine stands 167 centimeters tall and weighs 70 kilograms. The humanoid robot combines multimodal AI, cameras, sensors, microphones and 3D LiDAR for autonomous navigation.
The system allows Mornine to understand its surroundings and interact with people. AiMOGA also designed it to support various operational tasks.
The company sees applications in entertainment, guest reception and product information services. It can also support sectors such as healthcare, education, public services, industry and security.
AiMOGA Sales & Development Manager Winny Cinthya said Mornine is designed to assist people rather than replace them.
“More like a human assistant. It is for tasks that no longer need to be done entirely by humans. It is not meant to replace humans, but rather to help with our work,” Winny said.
The company said Mornine has obtained several certifications. These include the European Union’s CE-MD, EN 18031 cybersecurity and data protection standard, and CE-RED. It also holds certification from the US Federal Communications Commission.
Meanwhile, AiMOGA designed Argos as a robotic companion for everyday activities. The robot can accompany users on walks, monitor children and help carry items.
Argos responds to voice and touch commands. It also features cameras, microphones, radar, speakers and lighting.
AiMOGA said it has shipped more than 2,000 robots globally. Its products have reached more than 60 countries and have been deployed across hundreds of real-world scenarios.
Those applications include automotive and medical services, among other sectors.
The launch marks another step in Indonesia’s growing consumer robotics market. AiMOGA’s Jakarta experience store will also give customers an opportunity to see the robots and explore their potential applications.
