Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), also known as Jamkrindo, reported a strong financial performance in the first half of 2026, posting a 34.7% increase in pre-tax profit as its business transformation continued to strengthen operations.

The state-owned credit guarantee company recorded pre-tax profit of IDR 743.23 billion (about US$45.7 million) in the first six months of 2026. The figure rose from IDR 551.76 billion during the same period last year.

President Director Abdul Bari said the improvement reflects the company’s long-term transformation strategy, which covers business operations, organizational structure, human resources, corporate culture, and technology.

“The transformation has strengthened Jamkrindo’s organizational capabilities, improved performance, and supported sustainable growth,” Abdul Bari said in a statement on Friday.

He added that the integrated strategy has increased productivity, accelerated business processes, strengthened risk management, and improved operational efficiency, allowing the company to deliver better services to stakeholders.

The stronger performance also appeared across other financial indicators. As of June 30, 2026, Jamkrindo recorded net guarantee service income of IDR 3.16 trillion (around US$194.5 million), up 21.49% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the company reported total assets of IDR 29.83 trillion (approximately US$1.83 billion) and total equity of IDR 13.90 trillion (about US$855 million), highlighting its solid financial position.

Beyond financial growth, Jamkrindo continued expanding access to financing for businesses across Indonesia. During the first half of 2026, the company guaranteed loans worth IDR 157.30 trillion (around US$9.67 billion), supporting approximately 2.28 million businesses.

The company said these guarantees help strengthen financial inclusion, support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and encourage more inclusive economic growth.

As part of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Jamkrindo also reaffirmed its support for the consolidation and streamlining of Indonesia’s credit guarantee industry. According to the company, the initiative aims to strengthen governance, improve competitiveness, and create greater value for the national financial system.

“Konsolidation and streamlining are strategic steps toward building a stronger and more competitive credit guarantee industry,” Abdul Bari said.

Jamkrindo also continued its corporate social responsibility initiatives through programs focusing on education, MSME development, financial literacy, and environmental sustainability. These include Pustaka Lestari, Pelosok Mengajar, Mobil Pelita, and Trash4Cash.

Looking ahead, Abdul Bari said Jamkrindo will continue strengthening its transformation strategy while expanding financing access for MSMEs, improving service quality, and creating sustainable value for stakeholders.
