The Ministry of Industry is organizing the event alongside Dyandra Promosindo. This year’s exhibition will occupy three exhibition halls covering 19,110 square meters, up from two halls last year.
Moreover, organizers aim to welcome more than 500 exhibitors and attract over 30,000 visitors from around the world.
Indonesia continues to strengthen its position in the global halal economy. The country’s halal fashion exports reached US$8.28 billion in 2024, reinforcing its potential to become a leading halal production and trade center.
Halal Indo 2025 laid a strong foundation for this year’s event. The exhibition welcomed 27,340 visitors from 31 countries and featured 346 exhibitors from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
In addition, last year’s exhibition generated Rp7.7 billion in transactions and secured Rp7.2 trillion in investment commitments.
Dyandra Promosindo President Director Daswar Marpaung said Halal Indo 2026 will serve as more than an exhibition. He said the event will connect businesses, investors, international buyers, regulators, and communities through a collaborative ecosystem.
The exhibition will showcase key halal sectors, including food and beverages, modest fashion, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, education, tourism, and hospitality.
Meanwhile, Vice Minister of Industry Faisol Riza said the global halal economy continues to expand rapidly. Global Muslim consumer spending across six major Islamic economy sectors reached US$2.43 trillion in 2023 and could grow to US$3.36 trillion by 2028.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Industry will introduce a dedicated pavilion featuring halal industry services, workshops, coaching clinics, business matching programs, an Industrial Festival, and the Indonesian Halal Industry Awards (IHYA) 2026.
Faisol added that Indonesia has issued halal certification for around five million products. He said the achievement has strengthened consumer confidence and enhanced the country’s competitiveness in the global halal market.
Organizers expect Halal Indo 2026 to surpass last year’s achievements while strengthening Indonesia’s role in the international halal value chain.
