Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Bank Mandiri Taspen and PT ASABRI (Persero) have handed over pension-related benefits and compensation to the family of late General (Ret.) Ryamizard Ryacudu, reaffirming their commitment to supporting retired military personnel and their families.
Representatives from both institutions delivered the benefits directly to Ryamizard’s heir, drg. Nora Tristyana, at the family’s residence in Cijantung, East Jakarta, on Monday.
The compensation package included Death Benefit Assistance (Uang Duka Wafat/UDW) and Funeral Expense Assistance for Pension Participants (Biaya Pemakaman Peserta Pensiun/BPPP). Bank Mandiri Taspen distributed the funds through the beneficiary’s account.
Management representatives from Bank Mandiri Taspen and PT ASABRI attended the handover ceremony. The event highlighted ongoing cooperation between the two institutions in providing services and protection for pension participants and their families.
Bank Mandiri Taspen President Director Panji Irawan expressed his condolences over Ryamizard’s passing. He said the company hopes the benefits will help support the family during a difficult time.
“Distributing participant benefits is part of our commitment to ensuring heirs receive their rights accurately and on time,” Panji said. He also conveyed prayers and support for the family.
Bank Mandiri Taspen and ASABRI continue to strengthen their collaboration to provide accessible, reliable, and efficient services for retired military personnel, civil servants, and their beneficiaries.
The partnership forms part of broader efforts to improve pension services in Indonesia while ensuring participants and their families receive the benefits they are entitled to.
Ryamizard Ryacudu was a former Indonesian Army general and served as Indonesia’s Minister of Defense from 2014 to 2019. Throughout his military and public service career, he held several strategic leadership positions within the Indonesian Armed Forces.
