Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance (Prudential Syariah) recorded strong business growth throughout 2025. The company maintained its position as Indonesia’s top sharia life insurance provider.

Prudential Syariah reported total gross contributions of Rp4.2 trillion in 2025. The figure grew 9 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, new business contributions jumped 31 percent to around Rp1 trillion. The company also captured a 22 percent market share in Indonesia’s sharia life insurance industry.

President Director Iskandar Ezzahuddin said the performance reflected strong public trust in the company’s services and protection products.

“The double-digit financial growth throughout 2025 reflects the trust of Indonesian families in Prudential Syariah,” Iskandar said.

He added that the company will continue improving affordable protection services while expanding innovation through AI-based technology.

In addition, Prudential Syariah’s total assets rose 20 percent to Rp8 trillion. The company said disciplined portfolio management and targeted business strategies supported the growth.

Its total investment assets also increased 17 percent to Rp6 trillion. The growth highlighted the company’s ability to manage customer funds effectively.

Meanwhile, Prudential Syariah maintained strong solvency levels throughout the year. The company recorded a Risk Based Capital (RBC) ratio of 1,496 percent for company funds and 209 percent for Tabarru’ funds.

Both figures remained far above the minimum requirement set by regulators.

According to an independent survey, Prudential Syariah also ranked first in brand preference and customer trust based on recommendation scores.

The company said its multi-channel distribution strategy helped strengthen market leadership. Prudential Syariah currently works with more than 64,000 marketers and Financial Service Consultants (FSC) across Indonesia.

Throughout 2025, the insurer paid Rp2.2 trillion in claims and benefits to customers and families affected by various risks. The amount equals around Rp6 billion in payouts every day.

Beyond business growth, Prudential Syariah also expanded its financial literacy and inclusion programs. The company said more than one million people joined its sharia financial education initiatives during 2025.

Prudential Syariah stated that the programs reflect its long-term commitment to supporting Indonesian families through accessible sharia-based financial protection.
