Jakarta, ThedailyID — Fujifilm launched new Super Mario-themed features for the instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch™ app. The update lets users turn Nintendo Switch screenshots into customized instax™ mini photo prints.
The new features include instax AiR Studio™ and Click to Collage. Both support all instax mini Link™ smartphone printers, including the instax mini Link 3. The app also works with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Through instax AiR Studio™, users can decorate prints with elements from the Super Mario universe. The feature includes characters, items, and visual effects inspired by Mushroom Kingdom.
Users can create more expressive and personalized prints using those themed elements.
“Many users now enjoy games not only for playing, but also for sharing their gaming experiences on social media,” said Masato Yamamoto.
“We want to offer a more fun way for users to save and share their favorite moments, not only digitally but also physically through instax™,” he added.
Meanwhile, Click to Collage works like a digital photo booth. The feature automatically captures six images every three seconds. It then combines them into one Super Mario-themed collage.
The app also allows users to add Nintendo-themed frames and stickers to screenshots captured directly from their console. Users can then print the images using instax™ mini instant film.
Fujifilm said the update reflects the company’s effort to stay relevant with younger consumers. The company also wants to support users who enjoy sharing creative content online.
Alongside the update, Fujifilm introduced a special bundle featuring the instax mini Link 3™ printer and a Super Mario Question Block silicone case.
The bundle starts at Rp2,449,000. During the launch period, Fujifilm also offers a Rp250,000 discount and a bonus instax™ mini film pack.
