Jakarta, ThedailyID — Local brands UNERD and Othman unveiled their latest collaboration, “Amphibious Voyage,” on March 6, 2026. The collection debuted through an exclusive presentation show in Jakarta.
The collaboration merges dynamic streetwear energy with refined high-fashion aesthetics. Both brands aim to show how contrasting creative identities can produce a unified fashion vision.
“Amphibious Voyage” represents a meeting point between two creative worlds. The concept reflects the adaptability of amphibious creatures that move across different environments.
Through this philosophy, the collection explores how rugged street performance elements can coexist with elegant runway design. The collaboration also highlights how different perspectives can strengthen creative identity and cultural relevance.
Five Key Pieces Define the Collection
UNERD x Othman introduced five core pieces that represent a transformation “from street to runway.”
Two footwear designs feature rugged outdoor outsoles built for durability. Designers paired the soles with luxurious Floral Jacquard uppers.
The collection also includes a black blazer and a black shirt with floral patterns. Both pieces use the same Floral Jacquard material found on the shoes.
This shared fabric creates visual and textural harmony between apparel and footwear. The design also reinforces Othman’s signature elegance within a bold black palette.
A modern vest completes the lineup. The piece carries cross-cultural design elements while maintaining a contemporary silhouette.
Runway Show and Ramadan Gathering
The presentation featured a runway show as the main highlight. Organizers later hosted a communal iftar gathering for guests, media, and creative communities.
The Ramadan moment aimed to celebrate collaboration and togetherness at the start of the holy month.
BCA Supports Local Creative Ecosystem
The collaboration received support from Bank Central Asia through its BCA Bangga Lokal initiative.
The program encourages growth for Indonesian creative brands and small businesses. BCA said it continues to support collaborations that expand opportunities for local creators.
Through this initiative, the bank aims to strengthen Indonesia’s creative industry ecosystem and increase brand competitiveness.
BCA positioned itself not only as a sponsor but also as an enabler for sustainable creative innovation.
Infinix Introduces Premium Smartphone Innovation
Technology brand Infinix also joined the collaboration as a main sponsor. The company introduced its flagship device, the Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra, during the event’s press conference.
The smartphone was developed in collaboration with Italian automotive design legend Pininfarina. Consequently, the device draws inspiration from supercar aesthetics while emphasizing modern craftsmanship and precision.
Infinix said the device reflects its ambition to bring premium innovation and design to progressive users.
According to Tommy Xiong, Country Manager of Infinix Indonesia, technology and design shape the experiences of today’s generation.
“The presence of NOTE 60 Ultra in this collaboration shows our commitment to innovation and strong design identity,” he said.
The event concluded with a communal iftar gathering attended by guests, media representatives, and collaborators.
