Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Give US$26 Million to 20 US Charities

Jakarta, ThedailyID — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated a combined US$26 million, or about Rp467 billion, to 20 charitable organizations across the United States ahead of their wedding.

The couple made the donations before their wedding ceremony, scheduled for July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The donations support organizations across several states. In New York alone, recipients include City Harvest, Food Bank for New York City, New York Cares, Education Through Music, Answer the Call, Musical Mentors Collaborative, and After-School All-Stars New York.

Several charity leaders confirmed receiving the donations. They also expressed gratitude for the couple’s generosity.

City Harvest CEO Jilly Stephens said the organization received US$1 million from Swift and Kelce.

“We are deeply grateful for this extraordinary gift,” Stephens told Page Six. She described the contribution as a “love letter” to New Yorkers during a critical time.

Education Through Music also received US$2 million. CEO Janice Weinman described the donation as transformative.

She said the funding would help the organization reach more students. It will also support more music teachers and expand arts education in underserved schools.

Swift and Kelce also donated to Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and MSK Kids at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

MSK Kids President and CEO Dr. Selwyn M. Vickers confirmed the hospital received US$1 million. He praised the couple for supporting young cancer patients during an important milestone in their lives.

The couple also supported Children’s Mercy Hospital and Harvesters – The Community Food Network in Kansas City, Missouri. The city holds special meaning because Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

They also donated to After-School All-Stars Cleveland, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, The Store in Nashville, and Helping Harvest in Pennsylvania.

In addition, Swift and Kelce contributed to national organizations. They include Feeding America, the ASPCA, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, and Grammy in the Schools.

Swift has built a long record of charitable giving. During her 21-month Eras Tour, she quietly donated to local food banks in all 51 tour cities across five continents.

Reports also said the couple spent about US$3 million to rent Madison Square Garden for three days. They reportedly allocated another US$160,000 for additional security during the celebrations.

Wedding events began with a gala dinner on July 2. About 100 guests attended the event. The main ceremony on July 3 is expected to welcome around 1,000 attendees. Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are scheduled to perform.
