Jamkrindo said it treats cybersecurity as part of its business risk management strategy. The company also considers it essential to maintain business continuity as digital risks become more complex.

The company has strengthened its cybersecurity through an integrated approach covering people, processes, and technology. This approach aims to improve organizational readiness and maintain reliable digital services.

Jamkrindo Operations and Network Director Sigit Tjahjo Prabowo said the award recognizes the company’s commitment to building an adaptive cybersecurity system.

“Transforming information technology governance has become a momentum for Jamkrindo to build stronger digital resilience,” Sigit said.

He added that Jamkrindo integrates technology, processes, and human resources into its cybersecurity strategy. The company aims to keep its services secure and reliable while maintaining stakeholder trust.

As part of the Danantara Indonesia ecosystem and Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) Holding, Jamkrindo has developed its cybersecurity transformation in four stages.

The company built its security foundation from 2021 to 2022. It then evaluated and strengthened its capabilities from 2022 to 2023.

From 2023 to 2024, Jamkrindo focused on automation to improve security effectiveness. The company is now pursuing continuous improvement from 2024 to 2029.

The transformation rests on three main pillars. The first is a Cyber Strategy Framework based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework.

The second is a Cybersecurity Intelligent Platform with a Zero Trust architecture. The platform strengthens access controls and system protection.

The third pillar is AI Smarter Security. Jamkrindo uses artificial intelligence to support the detection and analysis of potential cyber threats.

The company has also strengthened security awareness across its organization. Jamkrindo considers cybersecurity a shared responsibility across all business lines.

The transformation has produced several reported security improvements. Jamkrindo said annual financial losses from cyberattacks have fallen by 90 percent.

Mean Time to Respond, or MTTR, has also dropped by 87.5 percent. The company now reports a response time of around one hour.

Meanwhile, data discovery and recovery time has fallen by 83.3 percent. The process now takes two hours, down from 12 hours.

Jamkrindo also reported a 95 percent compliance rate. That figure represents a 20 percent increase from the previous period.

The company further reported a 100 percent reduction in undetected incidents based on its measurement indicators. These results reflect stronger detection, faster response, and improved recovery capabilities.

Jamkrindo said stronger cybersecurity also supports operational resilience. It helps protect data, maintain digital service availability, and reduce potential disruptions to business processes.

These capabilities support Jamkrindo’s guarantee services and its efforts to expand financing access for micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Going forward, Jamkrindo plans to strengthen prevention, detection, response, and recovery capabilities. The company will also continue assessing AI applications for more adaptive threat analysis.

The company said it will continue improving its digital resilience alongside business transformation and evolving service needs.

The achievement aligns with Jamkrindo’s Transformasi Impact approach, which covers Integration, Market, People, Analytics, Customer, and Technology.

The Indonesia Technology Excellence Awards 2026 recognizes companies that develop technology innovations and solutions with measurable business or customer impact. The awards cover multiple industries and highlight technology use to improve services and organizational development.
