Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), or Jamkrindo, has won a Business Indonesia Financial Award 2026. The company received the Excellence in Bridging MSMEs to Financing Access award.
The recognition highlights Jamkrindo’s efforts to expand financing access for micro, small, and medium enterprises and cooperatives (MSMEs). Through credit guarantees, the company helps businesses obtain funding from financial institutions.
Jamkrindo’s Business and Institutional Development Director, Krisna Johan, received the award in Jakarta on October 12, 2026. He said the recognition would motivate the company to build a more inclusive and sustainable financing ecosystem.
“Expanding financing access for MSMEs is part of our commitment to supporting national economic growth,” Krisna said. He noted that many businesses have growth potential but still struggle to access formal financing.
Through its guarantee services, Jamkrindo aims to help more businesses expand operations and increase production capacity. In turn, these efforts can support job creation and strengthen the national economy.
The company’s performance reflects the scale of its contribution. As of August 2026, Jamkrindo recorded Rp235.44 trillion in consolidated guarantee volume. The figure covered 2.6 million MSMEs.
Furthermore, credit guarantees help financial institutions manage lending risks. This support is especially important for businesses that have promising prospects but struggle to meet financing requirements. Jamkrindo helps mitigate credit risks in line with applicable regulations.
The company is part of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) holding company and the Danantara ecosystem. Its services include guarantees for the People’s Business Credit program, known as Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). In addition, Jamkrindo offers non-program guarantee products to meet various business needs.
Meanwhile, President Director Abdul Bari said Jamkrindo would continue to improve its services and expand its guarantee coverage. The company also plans to strengthen digital transformation and integrate risk management. These steps aim to improve business processes and respond to changing industry needs.
Jamkrindo’s strategy follows its IMPACT transformation framework. The framework stands for Integration, Market, People, Analytics, Customer, and Technology. Through this approach, the company seeks to integrate operations, expand markets, develop employee capabilities, and improve customer services.
At the same time, Jamkrindo plans to optimize analytics and technology to make its operations more effective and adaptable. Abdul said the company wanted its transformation to create tangible benefits for both the business and society.
Ultimately, Jamkrindo aims to expand financing access for MSMEs and cooperatives. The company also seeks to support business growth, create jobs, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic development.
