Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) kicked off its 56th anniversary celebrations by holding a blood donation drive, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
Held at Jamkrindo’s headquarters in Jakarta on Tuesday, the event carried the theme “Ayo Donor, Sehatkan Diri, Selamatkan Sesama” (Donate Blood, Stay Healthy, Save Lives). Jamkrindo organized the program in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).
The blood donation drive brought together the company’s Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, and employees. Participants donated blood to help support Indonesia’s national blood supply while promoting a culture of caring within the company.
Jamkrindo Corporate Secretary Akhmad Albaasithu said the initiative has become one of the company’s annual social programs.
“We hope this activity will make a meaningful contribution to helping others while reflecting the spirit of Jamkrindo’s 56th anniversary by creating broader benefits for society,” he said.
Beyond the blood donation campaign, Jamkrindo continues to expand its corporate social responsibility programs across education, health, and community development.
Its initiatives include the Pustaka Lestari program for 5,600 Indonesian children, the Pelosok Mengajar education program, recognition for teachers serving remote communities, family mental health education for parents of elementary school students, teacher development programs, and the launch of the PELITA mobile literacy and child development service.
According to Akhmad, these initiatives reflect Jamkrindo’s commitment to creating positive social impact beyond its core business operations.
The company hopes its ongoing social programs will strengthen a culture of solidarity, compassion, and volunteerism while supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development across Indonesia.
