Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), is expanding the impact of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 beyond the racetrack by building an integrated tourism ecosystem around the event.
ITDC has partnered with banks, travel management companies, airlines, hotels, sea transportation providers, airport hospitality firms and logistics companies. The collaboration connects event tickets with accommodation, transportation and other travel services for visitors heading to The Mandalika, Lombok.
The partnership was formalized through the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 Business Synergy Signing in Jakarta on Tuesday (01/09).
The ecosystem includes support from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI). BRI supports the event through Management Warriors Mandalika, event-area branding, activity booths and digital transactions through BRImo.
ITDC Director of Operations and Chairman of Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, Troy Warokka, said the collaboration aims to turn the international racing event into a driver of tourism activity.
“Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 has great potential to drive tourism travel to The Mandalika. Through this partnership, we want to create a more seamless experience for tourists, from event tickets and travel to Lombok to accommodation and hospitality services.” Troy said, Tuesday (01/09).
Travel management partners Antavaya Tour and Panorama JTB, or PT Destinasi Tirta Nusantara Tbk, have developed travel packages for domestic and international visitors.
Antavaya offers four domestic packages starting at around Rp5 million per person. The packages have been available since Aug. 5, 2026.
For international visitors, Panorama JTB offers packages that combine the race experience with accommodation and travel services. One package covers four days and three nights, including a hotel stay, breakfast, Regular Grandstand ticket, airport-hotel transfer, hotel-circuit transfer and dedicated host assistance. Prices start at US$460.
The accommodation network includes 90 rooms at Merumatta Senggigi and 55 rooms at Prime Park Lombok for the Sept. 9–12, 2026 period.
Air connectivity will also receive support from Garuda Indonesia, TransNusa and Pelita Air. As of Aug. 10, TransNusa had increased its Denpasar-Lombok service to five flights and may add further capacity during the event period.
Meanwhile, PT Dharma Lautan Utama (DLU) provides an alternative sea route through Surabaya-Lombok-Surabaya. IAS Hospitality will also support visitors through airport lounge promotions, lounge access and concierge services for selected packages.
ITDC also works with PT Integrasi Aviasi Solusi (IAS) and MGPA Nusantara Jaya on logistics. Their support includes customs clearance, cargo transportation and logistics handling for the event at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
Troy said the partnership reflects ITDC’s broader approach to developing Mandalika as a tourism destination.
“We see this partnership as an ecosystem. When travel management, accommodation, transportation and airport hospitality come together, tourists have more choices and greater convenience to enjoy Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 while exploring Lombok.” Troy said.
The Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 will take place on Oct. 9–11, 2026, at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in The Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
ITDC expects the integrated approach to increase tourist arrivals, extend visitors’ length of stay and boost tourism spending across Lombok.
