Jakarta, ThedailyID — Indonesia crowned its historic AVC Men’s Cup 2026 triumph by collecting four individual awards, with outside hitter Boy Arnez Arabi earning the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) honor.
Indonesia captured its first-ever AVC Men’s Cup title after defeating South Korea 3-0 in the final in Ahmedabad, India, on Sunday.
The national team won in straight sets 34-32, 25-16 and 25-23, becoming only the second Southeast Asian nation to lift the trophy after Thailand’s victory in 2023.
Boy Arnez enjoyed an outstanding tournament and took home two awards.
The LavAni outside hitter won the MVP award and shared the Best Outside Spiker honor with South Korea’s Jeong Han-yong.
Meanwhile, Indonesia’s Alfin Daniel Pratama received the Best Setter award after playing a key role throughout the tournament.
Hendra Kurniawan also earned individual recognition. He shared the Best Middle Blocker award with South Korea’s Park Chang-seong.
South Korea’s Shin Ho-jin claimed the Best Opposite Spiker award, while India’s Anand Kottarathil received the Best Libero honor.
