Jakarta, ThedailyID — Indonesia Asri has launched “Jejak Asri,” a participatory platform that encourages young people to take real environmental action.
The campaign, initiated by PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), enters its third year with a stronger focus on youth engagement.
Over the past two years, Indonesia Asri has involved more than 3,300 participants through education programs and field initiatives. Now, the campaign expands its reach by creating a space where young people can share ideas, build connections, and inspire change.
Jejak Asri adopts the “third space” concept. It offers an alternative space outside home and formal institutions where young people can express themselves and spark open dialogue.
In addition, the platform applies an offline-to-online (O2O) approach. The team connects on-ground community activations with digital participation through indonesiaasri.com. Participants can upload stories in writing, visual works, videos, and other creative formats.
Chrysanthi Tarigan, Head of Corporate Communication at Chandra Asri Group, said meaningful change starts from small, consistent habits.
“Through Jejak Asri, we want to create an open and inclusive space where young people can share experiences, connect, and inspire one another,” she said during the launch on February 27, 2026.
Meanwhile, environmental advocate Astri Puji Lestari emphasized the power of digital storytelling.
She said simple daily habits can motivate others when people share them openly. According to her, relatable examples encourage more individuals to start taking action.
Furthermore, Indonesia Asri will strengthen the platform through #AksiAsri programs. These include community clean-ups, waste management education, and local empowerment initiatives.
The campaign aims to combine digital engagement with direct community action. Through Jejak Asri, Indonesia Asri seeks to turn small stories into collective environmental movements.
