Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) marks its sixth anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to providing meaningful protection for Indonesians. The company has paid Rp33.76 trillion in claims since its establishment in October 2020 through September 2026.
As a member of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), the state-owned insurance, guarantee and investment holding company, IFG Life continues to expand its services, partnerships and digital offerings. Its initiatives focus on meeting customers’ protection needs at different stages of life.
IFG Life Finance Director Ryan Diastana Firman said the anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on the company’s progress and strengthen its commitment to customers.
“Our six-year journey is a moment for us to continue providing meaningful protection for Indonesians. We are committed to improving service quality, expanding access to protection through strategic partnerships, and introducing innovations that make insurance services easier to access,” Ryan said.
Expanding Protection Through Strategic Partnerships
IFG Life is working with financial institutions to broaden access to life and health insurance. These partnerships allow the company to reach more customers through established banking networks and services.
Its collaborations include partnerships with state-owned banks under the Himbara group during Danantara Housing Expo, as well as cooperation with Hana Bank, Bank Sulselbar and Bank Papua.
Through these partnerships, IFG Life aims to offer protection options that better match customer needs while strengthening cooperation across the financial services industry.
Improving Customer Access Through Digital Services
The company is also developing its digital services through One by IFG, an integrated platform that allows users to explore and purchase insurance products and manage policies through a single application.
The platform also connects customers with supporting health services, including online doctor consultations and medical referral letters. These features aim to make insurance and related healthcare services more accessible in one digital ecosystem.
IFG Life said its digital development also supports insurance literacy and helps more people access protection services.
Supporting Communities Beyond Insurance
IFG Life has expanded its social responsibility programs to include financial literacy education for university students, women-led small business communities and deaf ride-hailing drivers.
The company also provides donations during religious holidays and assistance to communities affected by natural disasters, forest fires and land fires.
Its environmental initiatives include mangrove planting and coral reef conservation. Through these programs, IFG Life aims to contribute to community empowerment, social welfare and environmental sustainability.
“Under the theme of our sixth anniversary, ‘A More Meaningful Life,’ we believe IFG Life’s role goes beyond providing protection products. We want to grow alongside Indonesian communities, deliver financial education, support community empowerment and contribute to the environment,” Ryan added.
He said the company would continue developing protection services that respond to public needs while ensuring that its growth creates broader benefits.
IFG Life’s anniversary theme, Hidup Lebih Berarti or “A More Meaningful Life,” reflects its stated ambition to help customers manage risks, protect family well-being and prepare for a more secure future.
