Jakarta, ThedailyID — Bank Jakarta has received two awards at the 4th Indonesia Most Innovative CFO Awards 2026 and the 8th Indonesia Best Financial Awards 2026. The recognition highlights the bank’s financial leadership and brand presence in Indonesia’s banking sector.
At the ceremony organized by The Iconomics Media and Axia Research in Jakarta, Bank Jakarta’s Finance and Strategy Director, Basaria Martha Juliana, received recognition as one of the country’s most innovative chief financial officers.
The bank also won the Best Brand Popularity award in the Regional Development Bank category.
The double recognition reflects Bank Jakarta’s efforts to strengthen corporate transformation, manage risks prudently and develop financial strategies that support sustainable growth.
“This award serves as strong motivation for us to continuously strengthen healthy, transparent, and accountable financial management,” Basaria said in an official press release on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
She emphasized that financial strategy should extend beyond conventional performance targets and help strengthen long-term competitiveness.
“For Bank Jakarta, financial strategy is not merely oriented toward achieving business performance targets, but also serves as a crucial pillar in driving corporate transformation, bolstering market competitiveness, and generating sustainable added value for all stakeholders,” she added.
The awards followed an evaluation by The Iconomics Media and Axia Research. The assessment included media monitoring of CFOs and their institutions from 2025 through the second quarter of 2026.
The organizers also examined financial health, operational cash flow, investment efficiency and funding activities.
The recognition also highlights Bank Jakarta’s branding efforts to build a credible, modern and customer-focused image. The bank aims to support Jakarta’s development as a global city through inclusive financial services.
Looking ahead, Basaria said the bank would continue to improve financial planning and risk management as the banking industry evolves.
“Going forward, Bank Jakarta will continue to reinforce a healthy financial foundation, enhance business strategy effectiveness, and optimize risk management to support sustainable, competitive enterprise growth,” she said.
