Jakarta, ThedailyID — Agoda has announced the winners of its 2025 Gold Circle Awards. The program recognizes more than 3,000 hotel partners worldwide.
Now in its 17th year, the awards highlight properties that deliver strong service. They also recognize consistent digital performance and adaptability.
Indonesia ranked joint third globally this year. The country shared the position with Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea.
Within Indonesia, most winners came from key destinations. Bali led with more than 60 properties. Jakarta and Bandung followed.
The results show strong performance across major tourism hubs. Hotels continue to deliver consistent service while staying competitive online.
Indonesia’s strong ranking comes as travel demand remains dynamic. Searches for accommodation rose by 489 percent year-on-year.
The trend also reflects more diverse traveler profiles. This creates new opportunities for hotel partners.
Hotels can stand out through localization. This includes accurate listings, clear language, and better visibility of amenities.
Senior Country Director Gede Gunawan said the winners reflect consistent execution.
“These partners maintain strong operations and perform well online,” he said. “This helps travelers book with confidence.”
He added that successful hotels stay responsive and maintain high standards. They also make it easier for customers to choose them.
Agoda said it will continue investing in tools for partners. The company aims to support ongoing improvements.
The company also noted that intra-Asia travel remains strong. This trend continues to shape regional travel patterns.
As expectations grow, hotels must adapt quickly. The awards recognize those that balance service and digital performance.
