Jakarta, ThedailyID — Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, is now available for pre-order in Indonesia. Prices start at Rp45.678 million and reach Rp75.999 million for the highest-storage model.
Official Apple distributors, including iBox, Digimap, and Hello Store, opened pre-orders on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 9 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. Customers can purchase the device starting October 30.
Joy Wahjudi, CEO of Erajaya Digital, said customers had shown strong interest in Apple’s latest innovations. He also expressed optimism about the new foldable phone.
“We are optimistic that the arrival of the iPhone Duo will offer customers a new experience through its flexible and innovative foldable design,” Wahjudi said on Friday.
Apple launched the iPhone Duo alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series in September. The device features a 7.6-inch inner display when unfolded and a 5.4-inch screen when folded.
Meanwhile, Apple equipped the phone with its A20 Pro chip and a camera system designed to take advantage of its foldable form. The company also redesigned iOS 27 to support different ways of interacting with the device.
Customers can choose between two colors, Star White and Night Sky. In addition, the iPhone Duo uses an eSIM-only design without a physical SIM card slot, freeing up internal space to help maximize battery capacity.
