Jakarta, ThedailyID — Indonesian technology and electronics group Galva Group is marking its 80th anniversary by expanding its digital and industrial transformation while maintaining its focus on community welfare.
The group is celebrating the milestone under the theme “Rooted in Legacy, Rising to the Future.” The theme reflects its strategy to build on eight decades of experience while adapting to changing technology and market needs.
Galva Group operates across several sectors. Its ecosystem includes technology distribution through publicly listed PT Galva Technologies Tbk, audio systems through PT TOA Galva Prima Karya, hospitality through The GAIA Bandung and GAIA Cosmo Yogyakarta, corporate wellness through Living in Fitness, and investment management through LiF Manajemen Investasi.
The anniversary celebration also included a community relief program for fire victims in Central Jakarta. Galva employees and management provided assistance to 320 affected families in Batu Ceper, Gambir, near the group’s headquarters.
The relief included medicine, daily necessities, and clothing. The company said the initiative reflects its view of nearby communities as part of the wider Galva family.
Galva Group then held a gala dinner at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta. The event brought together its leadership and employees to recognize their contributions and discuss the group’s future strategy.
Galva Group President Director Oki Widjaja said the 80-year milestone reflects the company’s ability to remain resilient while adapting to change.
“Eighty years for us is not just about preserving what has been built, but about using our experience and core values as a foundation for continuous growth,” Oki said, Sunday, September 13, 2026.
He added that changing industry and community needs require the company to keep learning and adapting.
“As society and industry needs evolve, we must dare to learn, adapt, and seize new opportunities. This embodies our spirit of ‘Rooted in Legacy, Rising to the Future’—remaining firmly anchored in a solid foundation while transforming to stay relevant and deliver real impact,” Oki said.
Looking ahead, Galva Group plans to expand its operations across its nationwide network. The network currently covers cities including Medan, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Bali, Makassar, and Manado.
The group also aims to use its digital capabilities to support growth in both consumer and corporate markets.
“We want this 80th milestone to mark the beginning of a new chapter for Galva Group,” Oki said.
“With a strong foundation of legacy and an unyielding spirit of innovation, we remain committed to creating broader value for our customers, partners, employees, and the advancement of Indonesia,” he added.
