Dulux secured the top position in both the Interior and Exterior Wall Paint categories, reflecting continuous consumer trust as Indonesian homeowners prioritize quality, protection, and long-term durability.

Jakarta, ThedailyID — Decorative paint brand Dulux has retained its leadership in Indonesia’s paint market after winning the Top Brand Award 2026 in both the interior and exterior wall paint categories, extending a streak that has lasted nearly a decade.

The recognition comes as Indonesian consumers increasingly view their homes as long-term investments and seek building materials that offer durability, protection, and lasting value.

“For us, this award is not merely an achievement, but proof that the innovation and quality we continuously deliver can meet the evolving needs of Indonesian consumers,” said Nina Melisa Pelawi, Head of Marketing at PT ICI Paints Indonesia (AkzoNobel Decorative Paints Indonesia).

“Today, consumers look beyond aesthetics. They prioritize painting solutions that offer optimal protection, enhanced durability, and long-term value for their homes,” she added.

An independent survey by Frontier Research during the second phase of 2026 gave Dulux an index score of 39.56% in the exterior wall paint category and 37.37% for interior wall paint, the highest scores in both segments.

Nina said the company has built consumer trust through consistent product quality, including resistance to extreme weather and easy maintenance.

The Top Brand Award 2026 survey covered 15 major Indonesian cities and involved around 12,000 respondents. Researchers evaluated brands based on Top of Mind Awareness, Last Usage, and Future Intention.

“The Top Brand Award is not just recognition of past performance, but an indicator of a brand’s future sustainability,” said Handi Irawan D., CEO of Frontier and founder of the award.

“Brands that endure are those that are not only known, but admired by their consumers,” he added.

Beyond product performance, Dulux also continues to promote design trends through its Colour of the Year 2026 campaign, “Rhythm of Blues,” launched under the #TemukanTenangmu initiative to encourage calm and comfortable living spaces.

The company said the latest recognition will support its efforts to develop innovative decorative paint products while contributing to more sustainable housing across Indonesia.
