Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) has signed a strategic partnership with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Papua (Bank Papua) to provide life insurance protection for borrowers under its multi-purpose loan and home mortgage programs.
The agreement was signed on July 23, 2026, at IFG Life’s headquarters in Jakarta. The partnership aims to strengthen financial protection for Bank Papua customers while expanding access to life insurance solutions during the loan period.
Under the agreement, IFG Life will provide credit life insurance for borrowers with multi-purpose loans and home mortgages. The coverage helps protect outstanding loan obligations if borrowers face unforeseen risks.
The collaboration also expands an existing partnership between the two institutions. IFG Life and Bank Papua previously worked together on the Retirement Funding (PHT) program.
By extending their cooperation to credit life insurance, both companies aim to offer more comprehensive financial protection for customers.
Fabiola Noralita, Director of Individual Business and Acting Director of Corporate Business at IFG Life, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to delivering insurance solutions that match customers’ needs at every stage of life.
“This partnership marks an important milestone for IFG Life and Bank Papua as we work together to provide stronger protection for the bank’s customers and borrowers,” Fabiola said.
She added that the collaboration also supports IFG Life’s mission to expand public access to relevant life insurance solutions across Indonesia.
The partnership forms part of IFG Life’s broader strategy to strengthen cooperation with financial institutions and improve insurance inclusion through accessible protection products.
