Al Nassr Reportedly Delays Ronaldo's Salary Amid Financial Crisis

Jakarta, ThedailyID — Al Nassr is reportedly facing financial difficulties that have disrupted player salary payments and delayed its transfer plans.

According to Saudi newspaper Arriyadiyah, the club has paid some first-team players’ June salaries in installments because of funding constraints.

Club officials are working to settle the remaining payments within the next few days. However, the report did not say whether stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, or João Félix were affected.

The reported delays have raised concerns because Al Nassr is one of the Saudi Pro League’s biggest clubs.

Meanwhile, limited funds have also forced the club to postpone its search for a new foreign midfielder.

Instead of opening formal negotiations, Al Nassr plans to wait until its financial position improves.

The club recently parted ways with Marcelo Brozović after his contract expired, leaving midfield as one of its main priorities.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou will lead Al Nassr into the new season as the club prepares to compete in four major tournaments.

Those competitions include the Saudi Pro League, King’s Cup, Saudi Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League.
