Jakarta, ThedailyID — JF3 Fashion Festival 2026 will return from July 23 to 29, 2026, at the Fashion Tent in Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading. The annual event aims to strengthen Indonesia’s fashion industry as it adapts to rapid global changes. Organizers want JF3 to become more than a runway event by creating a sustainable ecosystem for designers and fashion businesses.
This year’s festival carries the theme “Recrafted: Shaping the Future.” The program connects creative talent with real market opportunities and international networks. Organizers also hope to help Indonesian designers meet global industry standards.
JF3 Fashion Festival Chairman Soegianto Nagaria said the fashion industry cannot grow through temporary events alone. Instead, it needs long-term commitment and strong supporting infrastructure. Through JF3, organizers bring together designers, brands, retailers, and industry stakeholders. As a result, the festival can generate broader economic value.
“Together, we want JF3 to become a complete fashion ecosystem by bringing together Indonesian brands while welcoming designers from France and South Korea,” Soegianto said during a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.
More than 50 designers and brands from Indonesia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Europe will participate this year. The lineup includes well-known Indonesian names such as Tities Sapoetra, Hartono Gan, Amotsyamsurimuda, Adrie Basuki, Sofie, Howard Laurent, Raegitazoro, and Lakon Indonesia. They will share the stage with emerging designers and representatives from leading fashion associations.
JF3 will also introduce new creative voices through designers such as Billy Tjong, YASA, The Theme, and Super Sentimental Secret Theory. Meanwhile, the festival continues its collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) by presenting collections from Rengganis, Opie Ovie, and Xander.G. Another collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs (APPMI) will feature Zahira by Koyko, Agathandy, and Haze Be Wear by Harry Hasibuan.
The festival also expands its international partnerships. French label 30%70 by Fengyuan DAI and designer Etienne, founder of TAREET, will participate in this year’s edition. Their presence gives Indonesian designers an opportunity to learn international production standards and business practices.
JF3 Advisor Thresia Mareta said Indonesia has no shortage of creative talent. However, many designers struggle because they lack access to proper industry systems. Therefore, JF3 has updated its format and evaluation standards to better match global market expectations.
“Our potential is undeniable, but potential alone is not enough,” Thresia said. “We must develop it into something competitive. International standards should become our benchmark. That is why we invite global designers, so local talents can learn about production quality, inventory management, pricing strategies, and the entire business process.”
She added that successful creativity must lead to sustainable businesses. Consequently, JF3 now places greater emphasis on market research, commercial readiness, and long-term business development. The festival also helps prepare professional models with the skills required for international runways.
Beyond fashion shows, JF3 2026 will present talent development programs such as JF3 Model Search and Future Fashion Designer. This year’s Future Fashion Designer competition crowned Arron Bryan from Jayapura as the grand winner.
In addition, the PINTU incubation program enters its fifth year. The initiative continues to strengthen creative collaboration between Indonesian and French designers.
Visitors can also explore Fashion Village at Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading from July 22 to August 2, 2026. The exhibition offers curated fashion products from participating brands and designers. Meanwhile, streetwear enthusiasts can visit CODE.STRT at Summarecon Mall Serpong from July 30 to August 9, 2026.
Summarecon organizes JF3 in collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Government. Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Creative Economy also support the festival. Through this partnership, organizers hope JF3 will strengthen Indonesia’s fashion industry and help local designers compete on the global stage.
