Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) celebrated its 56th anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to expanding financial access for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
This year’s celebration carries the theme “Broader Guarantees, Greater Impact.” The company aims to strengthen its role as Indonesia’s largest credit guarantee institution.
Jamkrindo plans to achieve that goal through digital transformation, stronger governance, and broader financing support. The company also wants to create a bigger impact on Indonesia’s economy.
President Director Abdul Bari said the company’s achievements reflect the dedication of its employees. He also credited the support of the government, shareholders, regulators, business partners, and the public.
“This anniversary allows us to thank everyone who has supported Jamkrindo. For 56 years, we have built more than a company. We have built trust,” Abdul Bari said.
He added that public trust remains the company’s strongest foundation. It also enables Jamkrindo to continue growing and transforming.
According to Abdul Bari, MSMEs remain the backbone of Indonesia’s economy. Therefore, Jamkrindo will continue providing more inclusive and innovative guarantee services.
The anniversary also comes as Indonesia’s credit guarantee industry enters a major transformation phase. Industry players are improving governance, strengthening institutions, and enhancing competitiveness.
As part of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Jamkrindo plays a strategic role in developing the national credit guarantee ecosystem.
The company continues investing in employee development and professional skills. It also strengthens risk management across the organization.
Meanwhile, Jamkrindo is accelerating its digital transformation. The company now uses data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and automated business processes to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Besides technology, Jamkrindo focuses on sustainable business growth. It continues diversifying its portfolio and expanding strategic partnerships. At the same time, it maintains prudent risk management and good corporate governance.
During the past 56 years, Jamkrindo has helped millions of MSMEs and cooperatives secure financing. Those guarantees have supported business expansion, increased productivity, and created new jobs across Indonesia.
The company believes every guarantee represents more than financial protection. Each guarantee also supports entrepreneurs, strengthens local economies, and creates new opportunities for communities.
“The spirit of our anniversary theme is simple. Every business decision should create economic value while delivering lasting social benefits,” Abdul Bari said.
To mark the anniversary, Jamkrindo also launched several Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
The initiatives include literacy programs for 5,600 children, teacher support in remote areas, reading corners in nine regions, and mental health education for parents.
The company also introduced the PELITA mobile service. The vehicle will provide literacy, education, and child development services in underserved communities.
In addition, Jamkrindo organized a blood donation drive as part of its community outreach activities.
Abdul Bari said the company’s success extends beyond financial performance. He believes real success comes from creating meaningful benefits for society.
“Through our guarantee services and community programs, we want Jamkrindo to strengthen MSMEs, improve public welfare, and support Indonesia’s long-term economic growth,” he said.
