Jakarta, ThedailyID — IFG Life strengthened its commitment to youth development through the launch of IFG Youth Runner 2026 in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
The program runs under the theme “Energize The Future” and forms part of a broader initiative by IFG Holding to encourage youth empowerment through sports and long-term development programs.
IFG Youth Runner 2026 involves around 50 junior high school and senior high school students from West Manggarai Regency. The initiative aims to help young participants build discipline, confidence, and stronger character through running activities and mentoring programs.
According to IFG Life, Labuan Bajo holds strong potential for community-based sports development. Therefore, the company hopes the program can encourage healthier lifestyles while opening opportunities for young athletes to achieve future accomplishments.
“Through IFG Youth Runner 2026, we want to encourage the growth of a younger generation that is healthy, confident, and competitive,” said Gatot Haryadi, Corporate Secretary of IFG Life.
He explained that sustainable talent development remains important because young athletes need consistent support and opportunities to grow in the future.
The IFG Youth Runner 2026 program will run from April until December 2026. Activities include coaching clinics, participation in national marathon events, and scholarship opportunities for outstanding youth runners.
In addition, selected participants will receive supporting facilities such as running jerseys and running shoes as part of their training and athletic development.
IFG Life stated that the initiative also reflects the company’s broader commitment to sustainable social development, especially in supporting young people in regional areas.
Through sports-focused programs, IFG and its affiliated companies hope to help create a stronger and more sustainable ecosystem for young athlete development in Indonesia.
The company also expects the program to create positive social impact for local communities while encouraging wider participation in sports among younger generations.
