PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva Expands HSSE Implementation Across Operational Areas

SPSL Director of Strategy & Business Development Retno Soelistianti said workplace safety remains a key company priority.

She explained that HSSE supports operational reliability and long-term business transformation.

SPSL operates as a subholding in port supporting services and integrated area development.

Therefore, the company continues to build a stronger workplace safety culture across its business lines.

“Alongside the company’s business transformation, we continue to ensure safety becomes part of every operational activity,” Retno said.

She added that SPSL wants to provide services that are integrated, safe, healthy, and sustainable.

To support that goal, SPSL regularly runs several HSSE awareness programs.

The programs include Safety Induction, Drill & Exercise, and Safety Forum activities.

Moreover, the company wants to improve safety awareness among employees, external workers, and business partners.

As a result, SPSL hopes to create a safer and more supportive work environment.

At the same time, the company also strengthens preventive safety measures.

SPSL routinely conducts Safety Briefings, Management Walkthroughs, and Safety Patrols in operational areas.

These activities help the company maintain compliance with workplace safety standards.

In addition, the company can identify operational risks at an earlier stage.

SPSL also conducts regular monitoring and monthly evaluation meetings for occupational safety programs.

Meanwhile, the company continues to improve HSSE implementation through technology and operational innovation.

One initiative includes online Safety Induction programs for operational workers and partners.

SPSL also optimizes CCTV systems to improve field monitoring more effectively.

In Pontianak, the company introduced Safety Induction Cards for drivers entering operational areas.

The cards remind drivers to follow mandatory workplace safety standards.

Going forward, SPSL plans to strengthen operational standards and workplace safety culture further.

The company also aims to continue innovation across all of its business sectors.

Through these efforts, SPSL hopes to support a safer and more competitive port service ecosystem in Indonesia.
