Jakarta, ThedailyID — Bank Mandiri distributed Rp14.54 trillion in Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) loans by April 2026.

The bank channeled the financing to 113,223 MSME borrowers across Indonesia. The program supports the government’s efforts to strengthen productive sectors and expand economic growth.

Bank Mandiri stated that the realization reached 35.45 percent of its 2026 KUR target of Rp41 trillion.

SVP Micro Development & Agent Banking Bank Mandiri, Bayu Trisno Arief Setiawan, said the bank maintained healthy credit quality while expanding financing access for MSMEs.

He explained that the KUR portfolio’s non-performing loan ratio remained at around 1 percent. The figure reflected stable growth and careful risk management.

“Through targeted working capital support and accessible financial services, we want to help MSMEs expand their businesses, reach wider markets, and create new jobs,” Bayu said on Tuesday.

The productive sector dominated KUR distribution with Rp9.16 trillion, or 63.07 percent of the total financing.

Meanwhile, the agricultural sector became the biggest contributor with Rp4.69 trillion. Production services followed with Rp3.16 trillion, while manufacturing reached Rp1.1 trillion.

Since the government launched the KUR program in 2008, Bank Mandiri has distributed Rp317.78 trillion to more than 3.7 million borrowers nationwide.

The bank also continues strengthening ecosystem-based financing through a closed-loop strategy connected to wholesale customers and regional priority sectors.

Besides financing access, Bank Mandiri expanded payment and transaction services through Mandiri Agen networks in multiple regions.

The company additionally promotes financial and digital literacy programs to help MSMEs manage businesses more independently.

Going forward, Bank Mandiri plans to strengthen collaboration with the government and Mandiri Group entities to accelerate KUR distribution throughout 2026.
