Jakarta, ThedailyID — Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) announced that global sports icon Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a 10% ownership stake in HBL Pro2col Software, LLC, an indirectly wholly owned subsidiary of Herbalife that holds the Pro2col technology. Pro2col is Herbalife’s next-generation digital operating system for personalized health and wellness, designed to drive daily engagement, sustainable behavior change, and measurable results through a structured, data-driven approach.
Ronaldo invested US$7.5 million in the venture and committed to providing services and sponsorship rights to HBL Pro2col Software, LLC. The investment highlights his personal commitment to health and nutrition and reflects his confidence in the future of personalized nutrition, as well as Herbalife’s ambition to make data-driven wellness accessible to a global community through technology and its distributor network.
Herbalife has been Ronaldo’s global nutrition partner since 2013, supporting nutrition and performance initiatives worldwide. The two have also collaborated on the launch of Herbalife24® CR7 Drive, a sports drink formulated to meet Ronaldo’s performance and hydration needs while benefiting athletes at all levels.
Herbalife Chief Executive Officer Stephan Gratziani said Ronaldo’s decision to take an ownership stake in Pro2col marks a significant milestone in their long-standing partnership. He noted that the investment reflects a shared belief in the power of nutrition, data, artificial intelligence, and personalized insights to deliver better health outcomes.
Pro2col uses individual data to develop tailored wellness plans supported by daily habit tracking and intelligent nutrition monitoring. The platform adapts to users’ lifestyles to make wellness practices simple and personalized. At its core is Pro2Score, an exclusive wellness scoring system that tracks key metrics to provide clarity, motivation, and actionable insights.
The platform also equips Herbalife distributors with tools and insights to strengthen customer engagement and support, helping scale access to personalized nutrition and wellness solutions. The initiative forms part of Herbalife’s broader strategy to integrate products, community, artificial intelligence, and digital capabilities into a connected health and wellness platform.
Ronaldo said investing in Pro2col represents a natural evolution of his relationship with Herbalife after more than a decade of collaboration. He added that the opportunity goes beyond brand representation and focuses on shaping a platform that can transform how people engage with their health and fitness. Herbalife has begun a phased beta rollout of Pro2col in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, with plans to expand access to selected markets in the EMEA region in 2026 ahead of a broader commercial launch.
