Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, represented by Consumer Loan Division Head M. Azis Yusup, symbolically handed over Special Death Risk Compensation (SRKK) to the family of Serka (Posthumous) M. Nur Ichwan, an Indonesian soldier who died during a United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Middle East (April 5, 2026).
Nur Ichwan, a soldier from Magelang, Central Java, served as part of the Indonesian Garuda Contingent under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). He lost his life while carrying out his duties in the mission area.
The compensation reflects the company’s commitment to supporting military families and honoring the service of fallen personnel.
“We express our deepest condolences for the loss of one of the nation’s finest soldiers. We hope this assistance can provide some comfort and support for the family during this difficult time,” Yusup said.
A representative of the family also expressed gratitude for the support provided.
“We sincerely thank you for the care and assistance given to our family,” the representative said.
