Jakarta, ThedailyID — InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG) has announced the launch of its newest premium collection brand, Noted Collection. Early discussions have taken place with several hotel owners, including small portfolio owners, who are potential candidates to join the IHG network.
Focused primarily on conversions in the upscale and upper-upscale segments, Noted Collection is designed to enhance the performance of high-quality, character-driven hotels while offering guests more distinctive destinations worldwide. A large share of the 2.3 million independent hotel rooms globally in this segment could benefit from joining IHG’s ecosystem, which includes revenue management, global distribution, advanced technology capabilities, and access to more than 160 million IHG One Rewards members. IHG aims to grow the brand to more than 150 hotels globally over the next decade.
Elie Maalouf, Chief Executive Officer of IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the company is excited to introduce Noted Collection to the market. He noted that the brand complements IHG’s premium portfolio and builds on the success of Vignette Collection in the Luxury & Lifestyle segment, as well as fast-growing conversion brands such as voco and Garner. He added that there is strong interest from owners of high-quality, distinctive hotels seeking to leverage IHG’s platform and expertise.
The launch follows IHG’s acquisition last year of Ruby Hotels, an urban lifestyle brand focused on city-break destinations. With Noted Collection, IHG reinforces its strategy to expand its premium offering and meet the evolving needs of both guests and hotel owners. The brand will also provide guests with new global experiences under IHG’s “True Hospitality” promise.
As IHG’s 21st brand and the 11th new brand introduced in recent years, Noted Collection will sit within the group’s premium portfolio alongside Crowne Plaza, voco, and Ruby Hotels. It will also complement IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle brands such as Hotel Indigo and Vignette Collection. The rollout will begin gradually across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa (EMEAA).
Noted Collection is positioned as a curated premium collection of truly unique hotels. Each property is selected based on its distinctive perspective, guest experience, and strong character. The brand is built on three core pillars: “Noteworthy Stays,” highlighting hotels with compelling stories and design; “The Edit,” which curates signature guest moments such as cocktails, cuisine, rituals, and soundscapes connected to local culture; and “Conversation Starters,” emphasizing warm, empathetic, and authentic service.
For hotel owners, Noted Collection offers an opportunity to join a curated family of premium city and resort properties while maintaining each hotel’s identity and character.
