Jakarta, ThedailyID — PT Intiland Development Tbk has expanded its mixed-use Tierra development in West Surabaya with the launch of a new community park and a residential housing type. The move supports the company’s long-term strategy to build an integrated township.
The property developer introduced Tierra Park, a communal green space, alongside Capella, its latest landed housing product. The expansion aims to enhance residents’ quality of life while strengthening the township’s residential and commercial ecosystem.
Intiland Marketing Director for the Surabaya region, Harto Laksono, said the latest additions mark a new phase in Tierra’s development. The project combines residential, commercial and lifestyle facilities within a single area.
“Tierra Park strengthens the ecosystem that has already taken shape while creating a shared community space for residents and visitors. We remain committed to developing projects that prioritize quality of life and balanced living,” Harto said in a statement on Monday.
Built on a 2,400-square-meter site, Tierra Park features children’s playgrounds, a gym, jogging tracks and shaded outdoor seating areas. Intiland designed the facility to support community activities, including yoga sessions, family gatherings, picnics and local events.
Project Director Ilyas Wuntoro said the opening also involved Komunitas Bermain Surabaya, which organized traditional games for visitors. The event also featured food stalls, live music performances and prize giveaways to encourage community participation.
Since construction began in 2021, Tierra has grown into one of West Surabaya’s emerging residential and commercial destinations. The development spans 7.5 hectares and includes housing clusters, commercial shophouses and lifestyle facilities.
Intiland said all SOHO commercial units have sold out. More than 60 tenants now operate in the area, including healthcare clinics, offices, restaurants and art galleries.
Alongside the park, the company launched the Capella housing type. The two-story homes feature a modern tropical design with a compact minimalist layout that maximizes living space.
Each unit sits on a 7-by-15-meter lot. The homes include four bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open-plan living and dining area.
To support sales, Intiland is offering promotional incentives. These include shopping vouchers worth Rp20 million, free certificate processing, complimentary canopies and smart door locks.
The company has also opened a show unit to the public. Visitors can tour the property daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Harto said Intiland mainly targets young urban families seeking practical and functional homes. He added that improving infrastructure in West Surabaya continues to support demand from end-users looking for integrated residential communities with modern amenities.
